Democrat Authoritarianism Continues to Strangle the Commonwealth

More criminals than should be are roaming Mass. streets and public transit because of irresponsible Democrat politicians. Now, they want you out of your can and onto dangerous public transit.

I was born and grew up in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Though I moved to my current state many years ago, it still pisses me off whenever I hear about yet another blow to individual liberty looming in my home state. Though I try to be a happy warrior, I leave some room for pissed-off.

And Massachusetts’ Democrat politicians, from Gov/Dictator Maura Healey, to Marxist Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, to many other Mass. Dems, they have given me plenty of reasons to be pissed off lately.

This progressive authoritarianism is disgraceful, especially in the home of the first Revolutionary War battle where the patriots in Lexington and Cocord collectively fired the “Shot Heard’ Round the World,” and American liberty was born.

Now, it’s Massachusetts Senate Majority Leader Cynthia Stone Creem (D) who’s pissing me off. She wants to control Bay State residents’ freedom to drive their cars when and to where they wish—to limit their pursuits of happiness because of—what else—the climate myth. If it weren’t a political myth, then why does it align so exquisitely with the Left’s political agenda?

According to the Gateway Pundit, unlike most Americans, not yet ready to release the Dem’s death grip on the “climate change” scam used to bully people into submission, the Mass. state senate leader has introduced authoritarian legislation, Bill S. 2246. It has “an ultimate goal to ‘reduce the need for personal vehicles’” [because climate change] by restricting your freedom to drive.

Kristinn Taylor writes, “The 82-year-old Creem wants the state government to promulgate regulations that could fine residents for driving too much and force them into riding public transportation, using bike paths and walking.”

You know, for a state that hates guns so much, Mass. Dems sure do a lot of things at the point of a gun, which is what government force is. Make no mistake. If you don’t do what they say, ultimately, they intend to use law enforcement to enforce their diktats.

How nice for Empress Cynthia, the Narcissist. Americans elect their political representatives to protect their rights, not to destroy them. These Dem politicians need to be reminded that what Her Majesty is proposing isn’t even a thing for most Americans. Only an authoritarian elite thinks about controlling how other peaceful people live their lives.

In other words, some Dems choose yet another 80%-20% issue. That’s just weird, right, especially when more and more Americans feel that your Party sucks?

Who knows? Maybe the Empress will be the first to be right about the “climate change crisis.” After all, everyone else, from Al Gore to John Kerry to Spartacus to AOC, has been wrong about an impending climate disaster. They haven’t been close, not even once.

Following the Left’s 1970s-1980s limiting “crises” of “global cooling,” which later morphed into “global warming” in the 1990s and 2000s, the Dems settled on “climate change,” which was a convenient catchall. After all, the climate is always changing, so how can we exploit that?

This neo-Democrat Party believes we exist as players on their Monopoly board, but only they can move the pieces for us. While America’s founding default setting is freedom and liberty, the Dems’ default setting is tyranny and repression (well, they bred the KKK and Jim Crow). Some Dems argue they wouldn’t support these extreme measures except for there being some kind of an “emergency.” But they created the “emergency.”

Once again, we confront the Marx-Dem’s climate formula: Create a myth based on an established, observable scientific fact and then use that myth to control your fellow Americans to advance your political agenda.

The scientific fact is that the climate is always, always has been, and always will be changing. Therefore, climate change is an objective, observable phenomenon.

So, the radical Left asks, “How can we weaponize and exploit the natural phenomenon of climate change for political purposes?” Create a myth based on that fact.

The myth is that climate change has become an existential crisis—that humans caused and can fix. If only they would do everything the Dems say.

This results in creating a mechanism for control using a convenient environmental “crisis” that, again, aligns perfectly with the Dems’ political goals and against conservatives. It’s uncanny how that works.

Senator Creem’s legislation provides a perfect example of using a created a political myth to control her constituents in Massachusetts, while pretending to help them.

“Just ride a bike or walk,” she tells people. It sounds like when FJB dismissed the coal miners’ concerns so casually. Similarly, their jobs were stolen by the Dem’s “climate change” BS, and FJB told them to “learn to code” (I guess “let them eat cake” was taken). This shows the Dems’ complete lack of respect or empathy for the people they are supposed to serve, not rule.

This attitude also shows what happens when you surrender your reason and objectivity to Climate Derangement Syndrome. Is it wrong to think that this behavior presents as a mental illness? I’m no psychologist or psychiatrist, but I was a cop who worked for decades in an area saturated with mental health facilities and responded to many of the 911 calls that that community generated.

Many people, especially on the political left, believe things, as President Ronald Reagan once remarked about liberals, “that just aren’t so.” Believing things that just aren’t so is a real thing on the Left. They seem to relish it.

Whether you believe you are a house pet, a prince of Poland, Pope John Paul XXXVI (yes, I’ve met these people), or believe that climate change will doom the human race (in just another 12 years, right?), these things just aren’t so.

Delusional thinking connected to political ideology leads to the mythmaking I mentioned. It must be recognized so these self-inflicted sufferers may get the help they so desperately need in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the rest of the United States of America.
